Update 15 October 2026: Season 2 is live. Below, every leaked number is marked against the game client: the Bremer Wall, ammo resupply, drill and Talon changes match, while the Door (80), Gate (200) and L81 Mortar (600) cost less than leaked. A typical base costs 1,038 Build Supplies, not ~1,708. Full list in the Season 2 patch notes; old and new values on What changed in Season 2.

Season 2 launches on October 15, and there are still no official patch notes. Meanwhile, numbers circulating in the community suggest FOB construction will become several times more expensive. Here's what we know for sure, what comes from the leak, and how much a typical base might cost now.

Important: the building prices in this article are an unofficial leak. According to the author of the Reddit post, they come from a closed briefing for content creators, and BULKHEAD may change them before release. We'll update this article when the official patch notes are out.

When is the wipe#

  • Date: Season 2 and the progress reset — October 15, 2026. This is officially confirmed on Steam.
  • Time: BULKHEAD hasn't named the exact hour yet. Past updates and hotfixes went out in a maintenance window around 08:00 UTC, but this is not confirmed for Season 2.
  • Patch notes: the developers promised the full list of changes "early next week" after the October 9 preview. As of October 13, they're still not out.
  • What gets reset: money, levels and seasonal progression. Gold Bars and cosmetics stay. More in our Season 2 breakdown.

What gets more expensive according to the leak#

Prices are in Build Supplies. The "Now" column is data from the current-season game client; it matches the "before" values in the leak.

Building Now Season 2 (leak) Season 2 (game client)
Bremer Wall 15 32 32 (confirmed)
Door 22 250 80 (different)
Gate 85 500 200 (different)
L81 Mortar 150 800 600 (different)

Besides prices, the leak mentions:

  • Mortar: ammo resupply costs twice as much, rate of fire is lower (confirmed: restock 75 → 150 Ammo Supplies, and a new firing animation lowers the rate of fire).
  • Talon 9K-SAM: resupply costs four times as much, reload takes 5 seconds instead of 2 (confirmed: restock 50 → 200, reload 2 s → 5 s).
  • Drill: uses a third more fuel and runs 20% shorter (confirmed: minimum fuel 1,500 → 2,000, maximum uptime 375 s → 300 s).
  • Hammers: build more slowly (confirmed: the medium hammer adds less per swing).

The Season 2 preview officially confirms only the general direction: weakening "mortar spam" and the drill meta so these tactics require more resources and coordination.

How much a typical FOB will cost#

Take a base: the FOB itself, four Bremer Walls, a gate, a door and a mortar.

Now Per the leak Season 2 (actual)
Build Supplies 347 ~1708 1,038
Packs of 50 7 35 21
Pack cost $70 $350 $210

The money barely matters here. Logistics do: instead of 7 packs you'll have to bring 35, meaning several truck or helicopter runs while the base stands undefended. The cost of the FOB itself isn't mentioned in the leak, so we left it unchanged.

You can calculate your own base in our FOB calculator. For now it shows current-season prices; after the patch we'll update them from the new client.

What players are saying#

The leak post gathered more than one and a half thousand comments. Key points from the discussion:

  • Yes to the mortar change, no to the rest. Many agree mortar spam needed nerfing, but don't understand why the door got ten times more expensive when nobody complained about doors.
  • Buildings cost more but aren't sturdier. Gates are already considered weak and awkward to replace, and durability doesn't change in the leak.
  • Anti-air is being nerfed while helicopters are strong. A separate wave of criticism targets the Talon nerf amid arguments that helicopters already dominate.
  • Repairs without XP. Builders are again asking for experience for repairing walls and buildings.
  • Others think FOBs were never the meta. In their view, games are won in the Hot Zone with a defibrillator, and bases often just get in the team's way.

These are player opinions, not the developers' position.

What's next#

As soon as BULKHEAD publishes the patch notes, we'll check the numbers and update the tables. After the patch is out, we'll update the FOB calculator and the "What changed" page with data from the new client.
