  • Surfaces, vehicles and players get wet; rain sounds different indoors, under cover and in vehicles.
  • Thunder is heard by everyone at the same moment and masks footsteps.
  • Spotting range is shorter in the rain.

Damage and armor#

High-calibre rounds lose base damage on every weapon that fires them, vehicle guns included.

.308 Win -25%
7.62x54mmR -20%
7.62x39mm -19%
.50 Cal -16%

Sniper rifles get more hit-location damage to keep their one-shot role.

Armor tier Damage reduction
Level 3 55% → 50%
Level 4 65% → 60%

In the game files vs the patch notes

  • The 12 Gauge Suppressor cost $1,040 before the patch, not $1,225 as the notes say.
  • Slug damage against armor uses one flat modifier for every armor level: −13% → −30%, not a per-level scale.
  • The Bow against Level 1 and Level 2 armor is unchanged.
  • The CIWS takes 2.5× longer to kill the Spawn Vehicle (the notes say 2.25×).
  • Calibre damage also depends on the weapon class: assault rifles .308 ×0.75 and 7.62 ×0.88; DMRs .308 ×0.85 and 7.62x54 ×0.80; LMGs .308 ×0.75 and 7.62x54 ×0.75.

Building#

Buildable Build cost before After
L81 Mortar 150 600
Door 22 80
Gate 85 200
Vanguard CIWS 1,500 1,200

Drill rigs need more fuel and stay active for less time. Hammers no longer breach doors and gates; the Halligan Bar breaches both.

Prices#

Item Before After
AK74 $1,600 $800
Super-45 $2,600 $5,600
AMR 50 $8,800 $14,800
L2A6 $14,000 $22,000
Havoc $18,000 $28,000

Purchased vehicles now have private inventories by default.

Progression#

  • Reaching role level 20 takes less than half the Season 1 playtime.
  • Assault gets C4 and the Molotov; Medic gets the Medical Bag at level Medic14.
  • Recon gets the M14, Support the Evo-3 Ultra and the PKM at level Support15, Driver the new tanks.
  • Logistics pays less per run but adds delivery streaks for consecutive runs.

Lonestar and fair play#

Season 2 only: Lonestar gets a cash and XP win bonus plus teamplay multipliers.

Update 15 Oct: BULKHEAD removed the Lonestar cash and XP bonus in a backend update the same evening. What changed.

  • All faction spawns on Bakurani were moved.
  • The losing team gets 20% off at vendors when it trails second place by 40 points.
  • Team kills: the victim votes to punish or forgive.
  • Team switching is restricted once a team leads by more than 10 points.
  • Official servers kick players with high ping, by region.
  • A Wager vendor, where you bet cash on your own performance, opens later in the season.
