Update 0.1.2: WD-L020 crash fix, exploit fixes and a new Deploy flow
Update 0.1.2 was deployed on 30 September 2026 during a one-hour maintenance window starting at 08:00 UTC. It is a minor patch focused on exploits, security and the WD-L020 crash, plus small server browser and UI improvements.
Key changes
- Fixed the WD-L020 crashes caused by Windows 11 update KB5124010.
- Closed several serious cash and XP exploits and gameplay bugs that hurt fair play.
- New Deploy flow in the server browser to make Infantry Mode and Low-Level community servers easier to find.
Exploit fixes
- Revive validity checks are now fully server-authoritative.
- Fixed the vehicle fly-through exploit; its rewards are now capped.
- Rewards for destroying buildables now scale with their build progress, so wrecking a freshly placed schematic no longer pays out in full.
- Depositing pallets into a FOB outside the zone gives reduced rewards.
BULKHEAD also stated that the grace period for first-time offenders is over: abusing repeatable exploits (or real money trading) can now lead to a permanent ban without warning. Caught abusers have already had their cash and progression reset.
Server browser and UI
- Hit DEPLOY and pick Official, Community, Infantry Mode or Low-Level servers. Gamepad is supported on this screen.
- Advanced Filters are back in the Official server list.
- Long server names are no longer cut off; hover to see the full name.
- After clicking Join you see the connection status and your place in the queue, if any.
- Anonymous mode now hides the server name on the loading screen, like Streamer mode; the pause menu keeps it hidden unless you choose to show it.
- Region select shows how many regions are selected.
Community servers (for admins)
- Daily scheduled restart time (UTC).
- RCON AllowedHosts to restrict who can access RCON.
- RCON message and broadcast lengths are capped.
- RCON now defaults to Standard response detail instead of Full, and config responses no longer expose server internals.
- ServerImageURL is validated when the config loads.
Stability and bug fixes
- Various server stability hotfixes and tighter server security.
- Grenades, smoke and C4 can no longer be thrown from enclosed vehicle seats.
- The adaptive crosshair now hides correctly when aiming down sights.
- Buildable crit spots no longer reappear where you just hit, hide in corners or jump to the far side of a structure; they now favour a spot you can reach.
- Fixed a Havoc bug that increased damage taken from 20mm and 30mm cannon fire.
- Improved localisation.
Looking ahead to Season 02
The developers describe Season 02 as a bigger content update with new map conditions, equipment, balance reworks and more features. A separate teaser post names 15 October 2026 as the Season 02 date (teaser on Steam).
