Patch 0.11: server browser split and a push for community servers

Patch 0.11 came with roughly one hour of maintenance on Monday, 14 September 2026, starting at 08:00 UTC. BULKHEAD openly admitted that community servers had been underserved and the server browser was poor, and this patch is the first step to fix that.

Server browser

  • The browser is now split into two: Community and Official.
  • Filters were removed from the Official browser, since there are no official modified game modes yet.
  • Filtering in the Community browser is more reliable, and there is now text search.
  • Community server IDs now persist across map changes and restarts. Each server gets its own unique ID you can join by; the ID is much longer for security reasons.
  • Show Empty/Full toggles added to the browser quick bar.
  • The Host button now leads to the correct place.
  • Server names now sort alphabetically regardless of special characters and numbers, and using more than one space in a row is no longer allowed.

Community server bonus

As an apology, community servers gave a bonus 5% End of Match cash reward for the following week.

Other fixes

  • Various cash exploits fixed.
  • More GPU crashes addressed.
  • Server capacity in the Asian region increased.

In the pipeline

Not ready yet, but planned: community server favouriting, tiered priority queues for community servers, a Message of the Day prompt, improved warmup activities, disabling AFK kicks while seeding, and team switching controls.

Economy abuse policy

The developers laid out how exploiters will be handled:

  • Abusing cash exploits and bugs: a timed ban (length depends on previous bans) and cash and XP reset to 0.
  • Making content that teaches others how to abuse exploits without reporting them: treated as advertising cheats, permanent ban. Reporting issues publicly is fine; promoting the exploit is not.
  • XP farming: the harshest bans. Joining a known XP farming server for more than a few minutes leads to a permanent ban.

Testing a bug once or twice is fine; repeating it over and over counts as abuse.
